The restaurant is located within a 23 minute drive from the One & Only Palmilla Resort and a 24 minute drive from Las Ventanas al Paraiso al Rosewood Resort  in San Jose del Cabo. To find it, you may navigate through dirt roads and frequently refresh your Google Maps location on your smartphone for a couple of minutes. However, the destination and concept are undoubtedly worth the mini adventure required to get there.

Before entering the restaurant itself, take a stroll through the mango trees, just steps away from a few shopping options that include casual apparel and fair-trade coffee. Don't worry if your table isn't ready yet.

The menu at Flora's Field Kitchen is continually evolving, depending on the seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on the premises. Despite the place's vegetarian vibe, the menu also features expertly crafted meat and poultry dishes, although beef is notably absent. I was briefly explained that it's due to the impact on the environment caused by cattle farming, which made perfect sense to me.

The recipes are simple yet creative, always highlighting the freshness of the ingredients as the main element. The success of the place lies, in part, in its simplicity. Sometimes, after indulging in the fancy dishes during the latter part of your Baja vacation, all you crave is a good sandwich or a perfectly made slice of pizza.

The cocktail list offers intriguing options, clearly showcasing the effort put into satisfying the discerning customer.

Overall, the entire adventure at Flora's Field Kitchen just works. The prices are fair, and you truly get your money's worth in exchange for the quality of the food, service, and the originality of the overall experience.
